Sarah is an accomplished speech-language pathologist with a passion for the early childhood population. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from SUNY Geneseo, and her master's in Speech-Language Pathology from Nazareth College.  She is certified and licensed by the American Speech-Language Association (ASHA) and the state of New York.

Sarah spent the first seven years of her career working with children from infancy through school age in their homes, daycares, and schools. She quickly realized there was a huge need in her beloved community for  feeding therapy, particularly for children who were not eligible for Early Intervention or IEP supports. Sarah decided to fill that need and opened her own private feeding practice in 2021.

As a self-proclaimed foodie, Sarah is passionate about helping young children learn to love to eat. She has attended multiple conferences and courses in order to further her knowledge in pediatric feeding and to ensure her therapeutic interventions are evidence based and effective. She was the recipient of an Award for Continuing Education (ACE) from the American Speech Language Association (ASHA) in 2017 for her commitment to ongoing learning. Sarah is a Level 2 TalkTools trained therapist as well as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). Sarah has an additional interest in the assessment and treatment of tethered oral tissues (aka TOTs or tongue and lip ties) and became TOTS-trained through Chrysalis Orofacial in 2017. She looks forward to becoming a resource in the region for families requiring therapy before and after a frenectomy (tongue or lip tie revision).

When she is not working, Sarah enjoys gardening, exploring the Finger Lakes region, and spending time with her husband and one-year-old son. She is available for in-person services within a 35 minute drive of Victor, NY. Teletherapy services are also available for those who live outside of that driving radius.
